The Town has recently undergone staffing reductions, which are expected to impact workflow and may result in delays in service. As a result, there may also be unanticipated office closures and longer than normal wait times going forward. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these changes. Town Hall office hours will be reduced to Monday through Wednesday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. This change is necessary to accommodate current workload demands and to support the completion of utility consolidation efforts.
The Town of Cathlamet’s water and sewer utilities are now under the operations and ownership of Wahkiakum PUD. Utility customers will be transferred to the PUD in the coming months. Wahkiakum PUD is expected to mail informational postcards in August regarding the upcoming utility billing transition. These postcards will include details about any rates changes, autopay options, instructions for setting up a new account (if needed), landlord/tenant information, etc. In the meantime, the following timeline has been confirmed:
