On the 2nd day of December 2024, the Cathlamet Town Council adopted Resolution No. 455-24. A summary of this Resolution is as follows:
“A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF CATHLAMET AMENDING RESOLUTION 442-23 AND CHAPTER 13.95 OF THE CATHLAMET MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO WATER AND SEWER RATES”
In summary: For in-town customers, water service base rates will increase by 18%, and usage rates will rise by 5%. There will be no changes to rates for out-of-town customers, as the Town is working to gradually eliminate the rate differences between in-town and out-of-town users. Sewer base rates will increase by 18%, and usage rates will increase by 67% (equivalent to $0.14) for all customers.
