CALL TO ORDER – Mayor George Wehrfritz

The special council meeting for the Town of Cathlamet was called to order by Mayor George Wehrfritz at 10:03 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2011.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE -

ROLL CALL – Mayor George Wehrfritz

Present: Council Members Richard Swart, Steve McNicholas, Ruth Doumit, Robert Rendler and Wally Wright.

Also present was Clerk/Treasurer Tina Schubert, Town Attorney Tom Doumit, Assistant Fire Chief Fred Johnson, and members of the public.

NEW BUSINESS –

A. Motion to approve the award of the Wastewater Treatment Plant construction contract in the amount of $7,861,160.37 to Pacific Crest Construction was made by Bob Rendler and seconded by Swart. Motion carried 5 Yes, 0 No, 0 Abstentions.

B. Motion to approve Resolution No. 302-11; regarding the CFD Transport Billing Procedures was made by Richard Swart and seconded by Ruth Doumit. Motion carried 5 Yes, 0 No, 0 Abstentions.

C. Motion to approve Ordinance No. 547-11; 2011 Budget Amendment was made by Bob Rendler and seconded by Ruth Doumit. Motion carried 5 Yes, 0 No, 0 Abstentions.

D. Motion to authorize Mayor Wehrfritz to request a renegotiation of the wholesale water contract with Wahkiakum PUD was made by Richard Swart and seconded by Bob Rendler. Motion carried 5 Yes, 0 No, 0 Abstentions.
