Issued: 11/29/2023, 4:45 PM

Effective immediately, the Town of Cathlamet is implementing precautionary boil water measures for all customers located in Zone 2 and Zone 3 of the Cathlamet water system or if you were without water service for any period of time on the morning of November 29, 2023. This notice is being issued in connection with the water conservation notice issued earlier today and will continue until the Town provides notice that the precautionary boil water notice has been lifted. All addresses east of Maple Street and including the Rosedale area are included in Zone 2 and Zone 3. Puget Island is not affected by this notice.

It is anticipated that the results of the bacteria water samples will be back by the end of tomorrow. Once we receive the results and confirm that the water is safe for consumption, we anticipate rescinding this notice.
